Re: Xr500 antenna port loose
Sugru?
If the antenna still works, a little sugru might be a decent fix.
Or what part is loose? the connector?

Re: Xr500 antenna port loose
so where it actually screws to the router?
I'd probably not super glue it. Does it tighten at all?
I don't have that router (so not familar with those exact antenna's).
Plus you posted in the general router forum and not the pro router forum.
They might know more about those specific antenna's.

Re: Xr500 antenna port loose
I attached a photo showing the internals. it looks like its wired in.
If you're out of warranty, you could probably open it up and re-glue or sugru it back to the board.

Re: Xr500 antenna port loose
Looks like the jack itself is still fine.
I'd check warranty status first. (might be void since you opened it though)
If its not in warranty, you could either solder it back onto the board (if you're decent at soldering) or try glueing it

Re: Xr500 antenna port loose
I can't say as I've used either so I can't tell you which is faster.
In my experience though, most retailer warranties make you go through the manufacturer if its still within the manufacturer warranty period.
