I have an MR70 Netgear Wireless Mesh. I'd like to add an additional network for my IoT devices. How can I do this?
Thanks,
Shadraq

Hello @CrimpOn, @plemans, and @FURRYe38 - Thanks for your assistance with this topic!
@TheShadraq - In looking at the user manual (page 61) there are some steps listed to add a WiFi network:
To add a WiFi network:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your mesh network.
2. Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
A login window opens.
3. Enter the router admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time
that you logged in. The username and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select the Customize WiFi Network.
The Customize WiFi Network page displays.
5. Select the Customize 2.4 GHz WiFi Network or Customize 5 GHz WiFi Network
check box.
You can add a WiFi network in the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band.
6. To control the SSID broadcast, select or clear the Enable SSID Broadcast check
box.
When this check box is selected, the router broadcasts the SSID so that it displays
when you scan for local WiFi networks on your computer or mobile device.
7. To add an SSID, type a name in the Customized 2.4 GHz WiFi Network Name
(SSID) or Customized 5 GHz WiFi Network Name (SSID) field.
Please let me know if this information is helpful.
Best,

Re: MR70: Add additional SSID
The User Manual for the MR70 does not appear to mention any method for adding additional WiFi SSIDs (for Internet of Things [IoT] devices are for any other reason.) From this I conclude that this product does not offer such a capability.

Re: MR70: Add additional SSID
You could get a cheap router/access point and just use them in access point mode to offload your IoT devices to.

Re: MR70: Add additional SSID
Some have opted to use the Guest Network SSID network for use of IoT devices.

Re: MR70: Add additional SSID
I was hoping to segregate the three. I’m honestly surprised. It hadn’t occurred to me to even check the functionality. I just assumed. My last couple of (non mesh) routers had this option and they were certainly much (much) older.

Re: MR70: Add additional SSID
IoT should work on the main wifi network.

Thanks for finding page 61. We now know I do not read manuals carefully (sigh)

Re: MR70: Add additional SSID
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to rest as I’ve returned the item and went in another direction.
I have no doubt that someone else will find this and be jacked at the super awesome find you came across.
Thank you for being diligent and responding to this thread.
