MS80 Satellites not syncing
Yesterday afternoon devices on my MS80 satellite lost internet connection and only items that were closer to my MR80 router retained internet. When trying to connect the devices, that lost connection, to the MR80 they would not reconnect. After checking over the system, removing the MS80, and rebooting a couple of times nothing seemed to change. Right before going to bed about 4 hours after it went out the devices that would not reconnect connected to the MR80. Today they all seemed to be running fine on the MR80 with a weaker connection since they are a few walls and about 50 feet away. Then again today late afternoon the devices lost connection.(Again only the ones that were connected to the satellite) I dug a little deeper and I still can not get the MS80 to sync with the MR80 wether trying via wired or wireless connection. I checked the frimware via desktop connection and it said it was up to date on both the MR80 and the MS80. It showed 1.1.7.12 as the current verision for the MR80 and was just blank in the verision for the MS80. So I manually updated both the fireware's to 1.1.7.14 and have everything running on the MR80 again but can not get the MS80 to sync to the MR80, again trying both wired and wireless connection and factory resetting both.
Kind of a odd setup but I had the MR80 mesh set up before moving out in to the country where we do not have any wired internet service, so I have it hooked up to a AT&T Nighthawk M6 Pro with Cell Service. I have been running this set up with the M6 Pro for about a year now with no issues.
