My router MR60 keeps going offline for no apparent reason
My router MR60 keeps going offline for no apparent reason. It appears there is a firmware update but I can't get it to load for the same reason The skimpy three month warranty has expired and when I call for assistance the only thing they can do for me is continuously pitch the extended warranty program. My app/passwords don't work, even though I've never changed them and I'm experiencing the same frustrations outlined in the previous message.
My current firmware is V1.1.6.122.
At this rate, this will be the last product I buy from Netgear.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between MR and MS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
So there is this:
If you have MS deployed, update the MS first, then the MR lastly.
