Nighthawk C7000v2 Mesh / Extending

I have a Nighthawk C7000v2. I would like to extend the range but not sure how. It's just "OK" in parts of my house, but get out to my garage (100+ feet away) and sketchy. I am going to parking an RV by my garage and want to extend good WiFi out there.

Yes. Can hook up just about any thing. EX or EAX series extenders have wired AP modes that have the LAN port in back. A R or RAX series router can work in AP mode as well.

Wireless Access Point= Any device that broadcasts a wifi signal.

My Setup ISP SparkLight | Internet Cable 1000↓/50↑ CAX30 Mode Mode  | Wifi Router RBK963 and RBK853 Router mode | Switches NG GS105/8, GS308v3, GS110MX and XS505M | Additional NG HW: C7800/CAX3/CAX80/CM1100/CM1200/CM2000, Orbi: CBK40, CBK752, RBK50, RBK853, RBK752, RBK953, SXK30 | NightHawk: MK63, R7000, R7800, R7960P, R8000, RAXE500, RAX120v2, RAX50v2, XR450/500/700/1000, EX7500/EX7700

That kind of distance, you might be best to put in a CAT6A STP lan cable out the garage and then put in a wireless AP unit that's connected to the lan cable for best use and operation.

Re: Nighthawk C7000v2 Mesh / Extending

Just fyi, not all of the gears EX extenders have access point mode. The higher priced ones do so its worth checking into the ones you look at to see if they have that feature.

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity
