Nighthawk MK6x 5GHz 160MHz channel width?
Quick question: Does the Nighthawk Mesh set support 160MHz channel width?
When looking at https://kb.netgear.com/000060378/Which-Dynamic-Frequency-Selection-channels-does-my-NETGEAR-router-s... it is apparent that the two channels 50 and 114 that are listed there for 160MHz-supporting devices are not available on MR60, so I'm afraid it's not supported.
TIA!

Re: Nighthawk MK6x 5GHz 160MHz channel width?
Quick reply: Not everything designated AX or WiFi 6 is per se an 8x8 system using 80+80 MHz channel blocks with some 1920 (of 2048) subcarriers able to handle PHY rates of some 9600+ Mb/s.
Longer reply: Can't find the Nighthawk Mesh system in the list referred. But then, the MR60/MS60 are designated as AX1800 Router & Satellite 2x2 (600 + 1200 Mb/s) - a 1200Mb/s PHY rate is achieved in a 2x2 system on a 80 MHz channel, 800ns guard interval, with 1024-QAM 5/6. No need for either 80+80 MHz or 160 MHz channels at all. That's perfectly sufficient for the majority of mobile WiFi 6 clients by the way.

Yes, it is more than sufficient for me as well. Question was asked simply out of curiosity... 😉
