Re: Nighthawk MR60 Block Sites not functional
Website blocking doesn't work with https sites because it encrypts the site request between device and the website.

Re: Nighthawk MR60 Block Sites not functional
I tried blocking, for example, yahoo.com, http://www.yahoo,com, all non-HTTPS addresses, with Schedule set to "Always." Nonetheless, yahoo.com is not blocked.
Firmware is V1.1.7.132

Yes, the contents of the web traffic are encrypted, but the website domain is not. Website blocking at the domain/DNS level should be straightforward for even a basic home internet router to implement, and the MR60 is not a basic home internet router.
I mean, I could install PiHole on a Raspberry Pi to do this (talk about basic), but why should I bother doing that when my router has inbuilt functionality?
