Nighthawk router mr70 keeps old inactive connections.
After a period of time, there will be a ton of offline devices listed in the device manager. More apple than anything else. All different mac addresses, all disconnected. A number are also my android oneplus 12. Different mac addressses.
Performance of other devices to add to the network is impacted until I manually delete these one by one.
Why are these kept around? Can we please have what was asked for since 2019 on other routers to remove after a period of time or a button to remove all offline devices, or select more than one at a time to delete?
Since it causes problems to have them around, they should not be kept around.
We do use the Armor software, does that create devices with different macs for the same physical devices?

If you go in and disable random mac/ip on your devices, it'll stop that from happening

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

This would lead to different unknown devices being seen by the system.
Can you swipe the inactive device on the app and then remove it there?

Did that but when family and friends visit, they would have to do that also. Knowing that randomized macs are a good thing and prevenant, shouldn't routers handle this better? Do other brands have better housecleaning to avoid the dormant slots being used up?

Re: Nighthawk router mr70 keeps old inactive connections.
I have a ton of people that visit that still have random mac/ip address on. I haven't had any issues or had to go through and remove them.
What modem/gateway is the MR70 connected to?
When you do have issues, what actually happens?
