Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
I do not see firmware 1.0.1.90 for download for RAX120. Has Netgear removed it? All I see is 1.0.0.84.
Thanks,
Arun

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
I see that too. Im not haveing any wifi issues with 1.0.1.90. Should I downgrade it to 1.0.0.84 or stay at the 1.0.1.90?
I know there is an issue with selecting the WAN port to 5g. It will rebot your router in bridge mode and lock you out.
Any help will be nice.

Hello Nighthawk AX Community,
We have removed the the following firmware version off our support site. We currently have a trial firmware for the RAX120 and if you're interested, please send me a message.

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
No thanks, I will pass. Stability is extremely important to me. All my security cameras and alarm system and TVs and phones and laptops are connected via WiFi. In one year, typically 50TB of WiFi data passes through the router. Cannot have instability. 1.0.1.90 was really bad firmware. Glad that it was removed.

I wouldn’t mind trying the beta firmware. If it doesn’t brick the router.

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
if 1.90 work for you with no problem just keep it
for me i had a problem with one wifi card that was dropping speed connection every 2H
in 0.84 the drops still happened but less frequently like every 5H
i am on 1.97 from this morning untill now there were 0 drops so far
you should wait for next stable to be on the safe said

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
I was having problems with the AX200 with 1.0.1.90 as well. The speed would randomly go to a crawl. Disconnecting and reconnecting fixed it for another random period of time.
In looking for a revised firmware I too found 1.0.1.90 was gone. I downgraded to 1.0.0.84 and my AX200 random speed drop problem has been fixed.
Up until I upgraded my client to an AX200 this firmware was working fine as far as I could tell.
I also tried the Killer ax1650 card with the same symptoms with the 1.0.1.90 firmware.

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
I'd be interested in trying the trial firmware as I'm now testing 2 AX clients and the 1.0.1.90 firmware was not working well - randome speed drops to about 1/90th the speed till disconnect/reconnect. Firmware 1.0.0.84 is working well though.

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
Netgear,
VERY disappointing almost 6 months from 1.0.0.84 and two or three f/ws pulled during this duration. How about new firmware for wifi 6 certification?

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
The 1.0.100 released and immediately I noticed under the "Basic" section you cant click on Internet setup or Wireless Settings, you can only get to the via "Advanced" tab. Looks like there is some formatting error which deleted the buttoons but left the UI placeholders for them. And the Nighthawk app still cant detect connected devices.

Re: Has Netgear removed firmware 1.0.1.90?
Hello cadmanp,
Thank you for your interest. We are no longer running a trial firmware for the RAX120 as the official firmware is now available. I have linked the release note to the hot fix firmware v1.0.1.100.
