Nighthawk AX4 AX3000 Firmware upgrade failed
Hi,
Over the weekend the automatic firmware upgrade for my AX3000 failed for some reason, now the router will not respond with just a flashing red led.
I have followed the KB - https://kb.netgear.com/000064624/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-on-Apple-m...
it looks like the firmware has been transferred to the router but does not seem to 'activate' into flash memory and after a reboot the router is back to a flashing red led.
Any ideas?
John

Which device? AX3000 is not a unique Netgear model number. Many devices come with the AC/AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the Model Number. And, if there is one, include the "V" bit to show the hardware version. If there is no V number, then you have V1.

TFTP isn't the easiest things to get right. Did you find the videos that try to guide you through it? Here's one. Different device but same approach.
