Nighthawk Tri-Band AX12 compatibility with WiFi 4

Can anybody please tell me if the Nighthawk Tri-Band AX12 works with WiFi 4? I don't have WiFi 6 yet, but  I alreasdy want to start with a multi-channel router. And I know that within 2 years there will be WiFi 6 available.

Yes. Wifi 4 (wireless N) devices will work with wireless 6 (ax). 

I've got several n devices on my AX network.
