RAX 70 and AX6000 WiFi Mesh Extender (EAX80)
I have a couple of problems that I hope someone can help me with.
I have a RAX70 and it works okay, but I need to extend the WiFi range. I got an AX6000 WiFi Mesh Extender (EAX80) by recommendation. As soon as I connect the EAX80 to the network, the network (even the cable network) goes down like a ton of bricks and all devices lose connection. When I remove the EAX80 and reboot the RAX70 everything is working again. It no difference if I connect the EAX80 wireless or with a cable - the network make a Titanic on me. What am I doing wrong?
I am also a bit confused about the EAX8 since the description read “mesh extender” - I have found the extender part creating a separate EXT-network, but how do I make it a part of an existing WiFi. What am I missing?
Are the two things related - am I trying to create the wrong type of network with the EAX80 and that makes the RAX70 network go down?

The RAX70 is updated with the latest firmware.

Re: RAX 70 and AX6000 WiFi Mesh Extender (EAX80)
1. what method of setup are you using? The push button wps method or using the installation assistant?
2. if its using the push button and you have it hardwired in, it won't work. The push button is for extender mode, not access point mode (needed when hardwired in)
