It would help to know the manufacturer name and model number of the modem or ONT upstream of your RAX40. Look on the label.
The sequence in which you power up (boot) your various pieces that make up your LAN is important. Power down (disconnect the power cord) your modem, router, and computer. On your router, also disconnect the input Ethernet connection.
Power up your modem and give it plenty of time to boot and stabilize. Your internet connection indicator, if there is one, should be the last to illuminate.
Connect your Ethernet to your router and then power it up and give it plenty of time to boot and stabilize. Your internet connection indicator should be the last to illuminate.
Power up your computer and you should have internet connection.
