Hey everyone, I hope you're doing great.
So I had this RAX80 working perfectly. I had a modem/router combo from my ISP, but today they replaced it with a newer one. My service is 200/200mbps.
Since the replacement, my Nighthawk won't provide a good connection to my mobile devices (Android). In my computers, I get 207/207 mbps stable speed. However, in my 3 Android devices, I get ~200mbps download speed, but just around 0.1mbps upload speed. It's unusable, I can't access any app that requires any kind of authentication. If I enable a VPN in any of these Android phones, the overall speed is reduced, but it works at least, I get around ~100/100mbps speed.
ISP won't help because they say their provided router works fine (and it's true, if I connect my phones to the ISP router, everything works fine).
I don't understand what's going on. I've tried resetting the router, setting it up again, etc. but nothing works! What could be happening that prevents Android phones from getting upload connections, and it's solved with a VPN?
I appreciate any guidance or tip you can provide me.
Thank you so much,
Roger

If you have another router running on the network it causes a double nat.
A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.
https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions.
2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.
