Speed issues AX8
So I just bought these two pieces last week. They work great but every night I experience extremely slow speeds. For example at the peak I’m running about 900 mbps. But at night it drops in to the low hundreds or even slower. I have to reset the modem and router and it’s right back in to the 900’s. Thoughts on how to fix?
Personally I think it’s the modem because if I reset the router by itself it’s still slow. But when I reset the modem it speeds right back up.

Re: Speed issues AX8
Try hardwiring into the modem and just running modem----->pc and see if the issue still happens.
How are you testing the speeds? the built in app? a dedicated app? using a hardwired pc? what app/website?
firmware on the router?
do you have a screen snip of your modem's cable connection page?

Re: Speed issues AX8
So I hardwired in when it got slow last night. When I connected it said it was hardwired but no internet detected. I had to restart it before it the modem before the laptop showed any internet.
One I restarted everything speeds were back in the 700 mbps.
I use speedtest.net
