Unable to save port forwarding changes

Hello,

I am trying to add a custom port forwarding service. Nothing happens when I click on Apply. The Apply button becomes disabled, but nothing will be changed. If I wait, nothing will happen and I'll be automatically logged out without any changes being applied. I have tried both Chrome and Edge browsers as well as clearing all browsing data.

Router: Nighthawk AX4: RAX35

Firmware Version: V1.0.4.102_1.0.1

If it's relevant, I am trying to set up port forwarding for my Nintendo Switch, following these instructions:

Model: RAX40|Nighthawk AX4 4-Stream WiFi Router

Re: Unable to save port forwarding changes

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Re: Unable to save port forwarding changes

Thanks for the reply! I have not done a factory reset. I am away from home but will try that as soon as I can.
I also don't have a normal model. I have a line-of-sight service, so I have a small satellite that points at a nearby antenna.

Re: Unable to save port forwarding changes

Thanks @FURRYe38  - I was able to perform a factory reset today, however I am still having the same issue. You asked about the modem, but I'm not sure what to provide you since I do not have one. I just have a direct connection to a satellite that points at an antenna. I have a small local ISP using a line-of-sight service.

Re: Unable to save port forwarding changes

I've been trying to make this work the past few days, and I'm starting to wonder if this is a firmware bug. It seems to me that it is just taking an extremely long time to save or apply my changes, and the router logs out before it's done. It also seems that the wider the port range, the longer this delay is. I was able to successfully add a port forwarding rule with a range of 800 ports (20-1000). But anything past that I can't add. The Switch instructions say to use a port range of 1-65535.

Things I've tried:

-Talking to my ISP

-Factory Reset

-Downgrading my firmware

-Staying active in the router for over an hour hoping the settings would apply

I'm really at a loss of what else to do, so I'd appreciate any help!
