Vlan tagging radio on rax200
Hi
got an issue with vlan tags on radio. i want to have a different vlan tag for each of the radio bands (2.4 5lower and 5 upper) should have been a straight forward setup but I've noticed (through trial and error) that only one additional tag works
is this by design? Or is it an issue? Does anybody have more than one vlan tag working ?
system lets me have more than one vlan tag but if I have these spread across the different radio bands only the firs one works and the other radio bands don't broadcast
hers what I've tried and the results
setup one
internet tagged as 21
2.4 tagged as 31
5lower tagged as 41
5upper tagged as 51
result only 2.4 band is broadcast but taggin works well
setup 2
disable tagging for 5bands but leave in table
results
all thre radios broadcasting 2.4 tagged as expected, two 5bands default to 21 tag
setup 3
disable 2.4 band
disable 5lower
enable 5higher
results
only 5higher broadcasts and is tagged correctly
setup 4
all three bands on vlan 31
results
all three radios come up and are tagged correctly
conclusions
only one vlan on radio is supported/working
i could go down macaddress vlan tagging but that's a complete pain
