setup new router yesterday through web page. today I login to router and wants netgear account. I go to login and just keeps saying "something went wrong". I can obviously get to my account here. in the past I never had to login to account as it stayed "linked" after I did it once. so how can I access my router if I can't get to account?

based on your statement no account is needed for routers I disconnected the router from the internet and got in.
kind of a pain but i got ports forwarded i was after in the first place. thanks for the help

What browser are you using? Happening on MS Edge or Firefox?
Disconnect the router from the ISP modem and factory reset the router and setup from scratch:

See if you can get in to the routers web pages, then connect it to the ISP modem.
Please post the FW version if you can see this.

There is no subscription for NG routers. There is for Armor and SPC.
Once you factory reset the router and setup manually, after the router is setup, just reconnect it to the ISP modem.
Hopefully NG will fix this on next FW update.
I'd open a support ticket with NG support and let them know what your having problems with.

Ya something came in on last FW update. Bad behavior for sure.
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
