Orbi App MFA SNAFU
I fat-fingered my email when creating my netgear account - I accidentally entered email@email.con instead of .com. I've been able to reset my account email via the online netgear portal, but when I authenticate into the app, I get the MFA warning - "Hey we don't know this device, please use one of these methods to auth" - then the only 2 options I have are to use the incorrect/invalid ".con" variant of my user name (NOT what is currently associated to the account) OR auth via a phone that I no longer have. It seems like they manage app credentials independently of the overall account credentials and are missing a sync here... I've got no way to disable the MFA check from the account management portal.
How the hell can I recover the use of the management app?

Re: Orbi App MFA SNAFU
The only way I know to approach this kind of situation is to appear to one of the forum moderators by sending them a private message. (click on their screen name and then select the option "Send a Private Message")
Some moderators are @KevinLiT , @Blanca_O
Include the personal information that should not be posted on a public forum, such as:
- who you are
- a short description of the problem (such as your post)
- the specific model and serial number of the router
- the incorrect email address and phone numbers, and
- the correct email address and phone number
Good Luck
