Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

Since the new firmware update, the devices on the device list all come up as N/A. I’ve rebooted with no luck, I power cycled also with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

Is this on the CBRs web page or in the Orbi app?

What browser are you using?

What mobile platform are you using?

What is the Orbi app version loaded?

Try a factory rest and setup from scratch with out loading any saved backup config from file. A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.
I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Use a wired PC and web browser for this. Be sure to clear all browser caches before entering the CBRs web page at 192.168.1.1

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

I am using the Orbi mobile app version 2.23.0.67.
Safari is the version with the newest iOS.
The iOS is 16.3
I’d really like to avoid doing a factory reset if at all possible. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do.
Thanks

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

So this is on a phone or pad?

Does the display work with a wired or wireless PC using a web browser? Safari or MS Edge or FireFox on the CBRs web page?

Yes it’s on my iPhone. I’ll have to dust off the old laptop to try using a web browser.

The app seems to be functioning as normal besides the devices showing up as N/A as their description.

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

Do all devices show NA or just some?
Please confirm NA is need on the web browser and Orbi app.

What devices do you all have connected?

Any odd host names for these devices? Special Characters or spaces or dashes could cause some problems.

You'll need to Factory reset and setup from scratch with the CBR.

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

I think for some normal use cases, most access the CBRs web page using a web browser on a PC or the Orbi app.

Not sure how well a browser will work and be displayed on a phone since the screen size is so small.

I just tried on a PC through a browser and the devices show up with their correct names.

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

The problem seems to lie with the Orbi mobile app. I’ve never had issues before until I updated the firmware on the router. Maybe there will be a fix with the next app update.🤷🏼‍♂️

Re: Problem with Firmware Update on Orbi CBR-750 version 4.6.14.4

Most likely. Sometimes the FW version can be out of sync with the Orbi SW.

Please file a bug report thru the Orbi app:
