My network includes one RBR850 + one RBS850 which came in one package, I later added another RBS850.
The new satellite was added successfully to the network.
The router and satellites are connected with ethernet cables.
Lately I saw that the new RBS850 is always displayed as offline in the ORBI app.
1. I tried to reconnect the newer RBS850 by pressing the synch button - still showed as offline
2. Tried factory reset the newer RBS850 and add it to the network - the wizard failed to detect the newer satellite, although, the blue light lit at the end of the pairing process, but the satellite is still displayed as offline.
3. Connected the newer satellite with a cable to a PC and confirmed that the firmware on the newer satellite is the same as the RBR and the second satellite - all have the latest version V7.2.6.31.
Any suggestions before resetting the router and configuring the network again?

If your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Re: RBS850 not detected by router
Does this show as offline on the RBRs web page as well? Or just in the Orbi app?
What CAT# LAN cables are used to connect the RBS to the RBR? CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Re: RBS850 not detected by router
Thanks,
I'm unable to access the RBR850 from the webpage, Browsing to orbilogin.net or 192.168.1.1 fails to connect, so my only access is via the app. The ip address for the router in the app is 10.0.0.1.
My house is routed with CAT6 cables and the RBS is connected to the switch with CAT6.
My house size is 350 sqr meters (about 3500 sqr feet) and I have 3 floors, the router is connected on the ground floor, with one RBS installed in the basement and on on the second floor.

Re: RBS850 not detected by router
Sounds like there is a router at the ISP modem or ONT that the RBR is connected too.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
Going to recommend that you factory reset the Orbi system, RBS and RBR and setup from scratch using this PDF procedure:

Re: RBS850 not detected by router
Thanks allot, yes the ISP fiber optic modem includes a wifi router. I live in Europe, so probably the model is not relevant.
I will try factory reset for all the ORBI gear.

Re: RBS850 not detected by router
Thank you very much for your help, you pointed me at the right direction and I've managed to solve the problem The problem, was that my switch that connects all ethernet cables in my house was connected to the ISP router, this created a separate network for the Ethernet (via the ISP router) and the WIFI (via ORBI). I connected the switch to the ORBI router and now it recognize and connects to all the satellites. It also solved an issue I had with my new Apple TV messing with my HomeKit accessories, because it was on a different network than the accessories.

Re: RBS850 not detected by router
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
