connect router and satellite with ethernet
Hello,
based on how my house is setup I would like to use this ethernet cable I put years ago in the wall to connect the router with the satelitte? is it an option or you just have to fingercrossed that the wifi will do the trick?
More than an option - if the cable is at least CAT5/CAT5E or better, and all four pairs are working, that's the (in my opinion the preferred) way to go.
