Since I moved to ORBI WIFI 6 2 weeks ago. I have problems with my Microsoft Teams connection. Every couple of minutes the connection is interrupted for just a couple of seconds.
Operation mode: Router
Firmware Version: V4.6.3.16_2.0.51
DHCP: On
Laptop: DELL XPS 15 9500
OS: Windows 11 Pro fully updated
Does anybody have an idea what could help?
Thanks

Re: Connection issues with Microsoft Teams
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX (WiFi6 RBK 3,7,8 and 9 Series) products. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Re: Connection issues with Microsoft Teams
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
How is the PC connected to the system? Wired or wireless?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Re: Connection issues with Microsoft Teams
Actual firmware is:
- ORBI router RBR850: V4.6.3.16_2.0.51
- ORBI satellites (2): V4.6.3.16_2.0.51
Internet Service Provider Modem the Orbi router is connect to:
- Model#: TG3492LG-LC
- MFR: did not find the information
Connected PC to ORBI Wifi showing issue:
Model: Dell XPS 15 9500
Connection type: wireless
Home situation:
- Size: 1250 Sq Ft
- Distance from RBS850 satellite 1 to RBS850 satellite 2: 20 ft
- Distance from RBR850 router to RBS850 satellite 2: 40 ft
First I had only RBS850 satellite 1 connecte to RBR850 router with Backhaul status POOR. Then I added RBS850 satellite 2 and RBS850 satellite 1 connected to RBS850 satellite 2 with both Backhaul stauts GOOD.

Re: Connection issues with Microsoft Teams
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

Re: Connection issues with Microsoft Teams
Thank you very much for the hints. I will reconfigure my environment over weekend and test the result in the Teams calls next week. I found also a former solution from you to a similar problem based on ISP Modem Arris TG3492LG.
