Maximum number of connected devices RBK753

Hi

Just bought a new mesh system RBK753. I have many connected devices (smart bulb, air fryer, dryer, phones, etc.) for a total of 28. The official website mentions a maximum number of 40. What happens if more than 40 devices are connected?

Could you please post a link to that information?  Neither the Product Data Sheet nor the User Manual mention 40 as a limit.

The user manual on page 133 says:

Thus, the "hard limit" is 127 at 2.4G and 127 at 5G.  There are many (many) reports of customers having LOTS of Internet of Things (IoT) devices on the WiFi network.  "Amount of network traffic" is the key.40 TV's streaming HDTV would kill a WiFi system. 40 smart plugs will generate almost nothing.
