NETGEAR Orbi Mesh WiFi System (RBK753) | WiFi 6 Triband
Hi,
I have upgraded my orbi mesh to Wifi 6 Triband and I am using Hey Broadband (1 gig uploads and 1gig downloads). Orbi is connected directly to my ONT. When i run the speed test on the orbi app I get around 970mpbs on both uploads and downloads. When i am connected to the Wifi on my Iphone standing close to the router it gives me 500mbps to 600mpbs. Is there any way i can get the same speed on wifi as i get through a Lan cable.

Re: NETGEAR Orbi Mesh WiFi System (RBK753) | WiFi 6 Triband
Not really. there's more overhead with wireless as well as other things that impact its speeds.
the max rbk750 connection speed for the 5ghz is 1200mbps but thats link speed and not throughput.
throughput tends to be 55-65% of link speed.

Re: NETGEAR Orbi Mesh WiFi System (RBK753) | WiFi 6 Triband
Most phones and pads are only 2x2 MIMO supporting so they will usually max out at around what your seeing on your system on any given day. Nature of the beast. Only 4x4 MIMO or higher devices can see near or same speeds at wired ethernet.
