Re: New RBR750 / RBS750 Series Firmware Version v3.2.17.12 Released
Follow up:
Firmware solves a lot of issues with GUI and App device info. Everything is correctly being reported with regard of icon, device name and whether it is connected to the router or any satellite. The GUI seems faster with less lag. I don't see any new visible features on the GUI or app.

Exactly what file are you trying to upload and are you manually upgrading your Orbi router (base) or one of the satellites? Make sure you are uploading the .CHK file and you are using the correct RBR (base) vs. RBS (satellite) version of the new firmware file.

The manual update web page is a little wonky so let's make sure you're using it correctly. Are you:
- Go to orbilogin.com, Advanced tab, Administration..Firmware Update
- Select Manual Update tab - Now you see a textbox for updating the base plus a list of satellites.
- Click a satellite checkbox
- Press the Update button to the lower-right of the satellites list.
- DO NOT press the Browse or Upload buttons above the satellites list, because these are for updating the RBR (base) and not the RBSs!
- A little popup browser window should appear, with the satellite's IP address and pointing to its admin website. For example, I get one pointed at 192.168.1.6/fwUpdate.htm.
- You have to login with admin and password again.
- Now you see the satellite's Firmware Update page and it's here that you browse for and upload your CHK file for the RBS.

Use a PC or laptop and web browser to send the FW files as suggested...

Re: New RBR750 / RBS750 Series Firmware Version v3.2.17.12 Released
Since I proceeded with the upgrade I am facing a problem with incoming mapping despite proper port mapping.
When the router boots, everything initially wolrks fine but after a while the traffic stops being properly routed.
This was working seamlessly with the former firmware version.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Good to hear. Be sure to make a backup configuration to file for safe keeping. Helps save time if a reset is needed.
Enjoy.

Re: New RBR750 / RBS750 Series Firmware Version v3.2.17.12 Released
I decided to rollback ...but the issue remains. It must be a "coincidence".
I am afraid my "ISP" (Internet Service Provider) has done something on its side.... 😞 I don't have a fixed IP address and I am using a dynamic DNS resolution. Maybe they start to share IP addresses during several customers? They pretend not butwho knows...
I worked super fine during years and years.

Now traying do change the parameter "NAT Filtering" to "Open" but I wonder why a problem with that option would have only recentely surfaced. I'll keep you posted in case this would resolve my issue.

Re: New RBR750 / RBS750 Series Firmware Version v3.2.17.12 Released
I am still searching for the issue and now believes that it may be caused by UPnP where one device (a Foscam camera) is actually creating port mapping acording to the logs "just before the port forward stops functioning".
Moreover, it looks like the table enumerating the various UPnP rules on the Orbi router is empty. I suspect that it is either corrupted or disfunctioning.
I am rather confident that this is the root cause.
- I disabled the UPnP rules on the router for a try. So far so good.
- I also disabled thez UPnP feature of the Foscam cameras as I am managing them properly, on the LAN, and don't need/want them to be accessible from internet directly
