Re: New RBR850 / RBS850 Firmware Version 3.2.7.2
So intead of a factory reset and re-loading a saved backup from file, what does the status say if you factory reset both RBR and RBS and walk thru the setup wizard with adding the RBS in the process and complete the setup wizard with out loading a saved backup config from file? You can move the RBS to the same room as the RBR for ease of trying this out.
I found that if you factory reset the RBS or turn OFF the RBS and then plug back in, it will auto re-sync by itself. Though I still haven't tested my system with the new FW. Putting back on line got postponed until this weekend.

Re: New RBR850 / RBS850 Firmware Version 3.2.7.2
So it turns out that the RBS850 reporting as Wired when it was really wireless... had nothing to do with the firmware.
The problem was resolved and was caused by a Sonos Boost that was plugged into one of the ports of the RBS850.
Turns out (apparently), the Sonos Boost has two ethernet ports on the back of it... although no marks distinguishing the difference between the two, if you plug into the Satellite by the Sonos port on the RIGHT (as you look at it from the rear), it will BACK FEED into the Satellite and make the RBR850 think it is hard wired.
I disconnected the Sonos Boost from the RBR 850 ethernet port and immediately the RBR850 went steady Magenta and then Blue and shows on both the App and Web Gui as being 5G connected.
I reconnected the Sonos Boost using the Boost's LEFT (as you look at it from the rear) and all is stable and working as you would believe it should.
This may be something other Sonos users should be aware of.
Bottom line: Although not marked as such, Sonos Boost ethernet ports are apparently "directional" and caused the satellite to connect via SONOSNET instead of 5G when using the RIGHT-most ethernet port.

Interesting. Who of thunk. Glad you found the problem. Thanks for letting us know. Sonos does give Orbi users interesting experiences to say the least.

Re: New RBR850 / RBS850 Firmware Version 3.2.7.2
I have three Sonos Boosts on my property... Now I have to check to make sure the other two's ethernet connections are all into the "In" door and not the "Out" door.
The issue of the App on the WAN continues, but as mentioned, if that is a known and working issue, I am not going to try any additional workarounds.

Re: New RBR850 / RBS850 Firmware Version 3.2.7.2
In the previous firmware V3.1.6.11_1.1.5 discussions people were having streaming problems on ios devices like Apple TV. I was having the same issues on iPhone Xs Max yesterday with the new firmware. The video would freeze and the streeming app on the iPhone needs to be restarted to resume the playback .

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last update?
