ORBI RBR350 - disable 5ghz for short period, or or have different SSID's

Router Firmware Version
V4.4.1.29_3.10.8

HI All

I am trying to connect Orbi to a door bell, that only supports 2.4ghz.

Is the best option to just limit the transit power? Is there any way to rename one of the ssid's?

I have check through  debug.htm, and the console is disabled on my version so that won't work.

Thanks

    Please identify this doorbell.

Nearly every consumer Internet of Things (IoT) product is equipped with the least costly WiFi radio chip, which supports only 2.4G WiFi.  The Orbi 350 system provides 2.4G WiFi, so it is  compatible with all of these devices.

In other words, proceed to connect the doorbell and see what happens.

5Ghz can't be disabled. However, you might want to also change the power output of the 5Ghz radio to 25%. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings. Turn OFF all RBS. Then connect your mobile device at a distance from the RBR to ensure the mobile phone keeps connected to the 2.4Ghz radio. After you get the IoT device connected, re-configure the system back to where it was.
Be sure that 20/40 MHz Coexistence enabled.

Thanks, I will try that plus maybe using my phone wifi and see if that works.

I did see that option, but it did not work the first time but I think this is because I tried 10 other things first. Reset to factory settings, so back to normal now.
