Orbi stops working once a week

At least once a week my router stops working. All lights are normal with no errors. Nothing that’s connected via WI-FI works. Log into the app and all items show to be on the list of connected devices but none work. To fix I have to reset the the Orbi change the password and get all devices to disconnect and reset again then change the password back to the original one and it starts working again. Doesn’t matter what name brand of equipment is attached. iPad or iPhones to Tp-link bulbs and switches. Even my Arlo and ADT systems stop working. Once I do the reset all works fine.

Re: Orbi stops working once a week

Not much to go on.

What Orbi model do you have?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

How many RBS do you have deployed?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

For that size of home, I recommend turning down the transmit power on the CBR to 50%, might try 25% first, then adjust up from there to 50% if needed. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
