Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
As a side note, I do not see any event logs. I saw them after I recreated my mesh from scratch, but they stopped showing after few days. Not sure if both issues are related.
I would be very grateful for help.

Re: Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
What Orbi model do you have?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 📡
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Re: Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
Hi FURRYe38, thanks for your help:
What Orbi model do you have? CBR750
What Firmware version is currently loaded? V4.6.5.8_2.0.54
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? 3500
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more, might be less than 30 feet in a straight line, but they are on separate floors, separated by walls - I can move it further
What channels are you using? Auto and 48 on 5Ghz
I did not answer the question about the modem router connection as this is one device. After I restarted the main router I saw the event logs for a day. Then they stopped appearing. There are also issues with NTP Settings. As I mentioned, the wifi connection becomes unstable - I need to manually switch between the primary and guest network, as one of them becomes unusable. Not sure if all of the above issues are related.

Re: Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page. Use a different browser if needed.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Try using channels 1 and 40.
Try setting the transmit power to 50% on the CBR. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Re: Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
Thanks for the help. I changed the channels to 1 and 40 and reduced the power to 50%. After reading the article, I noticed that one of the upstream channels might be problematic:
6 | Locked | ATDMA | 6 | 2560 Ksym/sec | 40400000 Hz | 49.8 dBmV |
I also noticed quite often the following critical event.
Sep 16 2022 22:08:07 | Critical (3) | No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out |
I hope this is not an issue with my home wirings, as that would be hard to detect. There were multiple Comcast technicians checking my wirings and signal coming to the modem. They said it was ok.
I'm attaching the cable connection (sorry for the format, it is hard to attach something readable here) to the post and pasting event logs below (they were usually missing):

Re: Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
What the Correct and Un-Correctables look like on the cable connection status page?
You have Criticals and Warnings that the ISP needs to look into.
If there are lots of numbers seen in the Correct and Un-correctables, this needs to be resolved as well as these should be mostly zeros seen here.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. Check all fittings and connections.
Power levels are with in spec however could come up just a bit if the ISP can do that.

Re: Orbi - unstable connection, no event logs
Power levels are ok but there are too many correctables and un-correctables. These need to be zeros. Something the ISP should help resolve. Check the fittings and for splitters. Suggestions mentioned to help on this.
