RBK853 -MAC address to use for passthrough
Hi,
I've a question regarding the RBK853 and MAC addresses.
Our internet provider has enabled MAC passthrough from the cable modem to your own router. In this case this is the Orbi.
You need to fill out a MAC address and I'm a little bit in doubt what to fill out
I have the MAC address which is labeled on the box, when I have a look to the MAC address on the main station it has another (similar MAC).
What should I fill out the one from the label or the one from the main station?
PS. In the interface of the internet provider it lists out the main station as being connected to the modem
Thank you for the feedback!
Regards,
/Tom

Look at the sticker under the RBR850 for the MAC address, not the RBS850.

Re: RBK853 -MAC address to use for passthrough
Please the web GUI (orbilogin.com) and go to >> ADVANCED >> ADVANCED Home >> INTERNET PORT >> and check the MAC address listed there.
