RBR353 guest network via LAN

Hello,

I would like to add a regular access point (no Orbi) with LAN connection to RBR353 (distance is ~150m so no mesh network from RBR353 available). technically it is working BUT could I put this access point (an all of it´s connections) into guest network instead of regular LAN? I would like to separate access point traffic and "the other network".

does anybody have a recommendation on this how to protect my regular network and get separat guest wifi via the LAN route?

Re: RBR353 guest network via LAN

to separate them over a wired link would require a router that supported vlan (not consumer grade).

The Orbi wouldn't work for that as its a consumer product and its vlan is designed for IPTV service.

I'm frankly impressed you have a 150m connection that's working. The spec on certifies it so 100m
