Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
I thought you already re-enabled WPA2 from a couple of posts up? Is WPA2 enabled or is everything still OPEN?

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
I edited the prior message to include the most updated information. I was trying to keep it all consciece in one message.
Here is the message...
Ok so right now I have re-enabled AX mode and the TV stayed connected. After the testing I turned on the 1 RBS and the Samsung TV is still connected to the Orbi Router, it has also conncted to the RBS and maintaining a connection still. As soon as I turned on the WPA2-PSK [AES] secutiry it lost connection. I then changed to WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] and the TV is able to maintain a connection. Should I change to this security setting even though it is a much weaker security setting to still be able to keep the TV connected until this issue gets sorted out with a firmware update? Or is there something else I can try? Thanks again!

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
Update...even on the other security setting the TV dropped the interent signal. Must be a conflict somewhere between the two.

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
So after loading the beta firmware on my friends rbr750 and the two satellites, the Samsung tv that was having issues connecting, is now working like it should and is receiving a proper IP address and is able to go online. One of the satellites was a pain to get into but finally managed to do it after a reset and all is good. It did give him a reason to sell a new tv to the wife but that's on him at this point.

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
I would make contact with Samsung and let them know what your seeing with the TV connected to Orbi AX with and with out WPA security settings. Seems like there maybe a problem with the TV not handling the security modes correctly.
Check to ensure the TVs FW/SW is updated...IF this is the only device having problems while others are connecting with WPA security enabled, this needs to be reviewed by Samsung.

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
My only concern as I have trouble shot this issue is that the TV connection was perfect with my previous Xfinity gateway I rented and also worked perfect with the Orbi system for the month I had it after purchasing it his summer prior to the Orbi firmware updating recently. It was then the TV started immediately started with these connection problems.

Thanks. Yes the firmware on the TV is up to date. I will contact Samsung and see what they say. This is the only device not connecting well and I have 4 other Samsung TV’s that work just fine just this one is having issues.
Like so many electronic devices a factroy default reset and reconfigure of the TV might help.

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
I tried that as well and it didnt' seem to make any difference. As long as I lower the security setting a notch to WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] it will stay connected easily. Once I switch over to WPA2-PSK [AES] the connectivity has issues again. Will see if things improve today any.

Re: RBR750 not connecting to Samsung TV
Let Samsung know about that. Seems to be a problem with the TV not handling WPA2 and AES only setting correctly.
