Weird issue - wren I look at my web page for connected devises both my satellites show disconnected however, they are listed 126 times - 2 MAC addresses but repeated many times. Nothing shows connected but I know they are as I can web to them.
The app only shows my router when I use the network map.
I flashed to the latest f/w manually but the problem persists.

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
So I rebooted everything in order, waited and all works but still the same results. I didn’t factory reset - what is the best way to do this? I have a backup config to restore.

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
I would use the RBRs web page under Advance tab/Advanced/Backup and use the Erase button here. When you do this, I would then press the reset button on the RBS for 15 seconds then release. Walk thru the setup wizard using a wired PC and web browser and complete the setup process. I would first check the RBS on the RBRs web page after you complete the setup wizard and see what it shows.

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
So factory reset satellites- and that will clear up the 128 satellites the router web shows?

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
Reset both RBR and RBS. Hoping this will resolve this.

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
The orbi is in router mode - I have uverse and setup in pass through mode. The satellites have been power cycled but it still doesn’t show them as normal. This did work for some period of time but stopped working a few weeks ago.

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
Factory reset work - however, once I loaded the old config the issue re-appeared. I factory reset again and started the config over from scratch. My guess is something in the router config is corrupt - I won't reload that one again!
I am a tech guy - in all my years of networking I have factory reset and loaded a config more times on my home orbi system than on any system I ever supported. Don't get me wrong, I've reloaded configs before, but not this many times. My old RBR750 bricked and Costco was nice enough to swap it for the RBR760.
Just sayin.....

Re: RBR760 Satellite via web page
Yes, sometimes newer FW introduces some incompatibilities with older versions of saved backup config files. Why we always recommend settting up from scratch, testing the system out to make sure it works first with out loading a backup config file, then save off a new back up to file.
Glad you got it working.
Enjoy.
