If your using v5 FW and have done a full factory reset on the RBR and RBS and the RBS continues to disable the wifi radio when it's ethernet connected, it would be a HW problem. Mine have been ethernet connected since I applied v5 FW and no radios are disabled.
NG support needs to look into this one RBS.

What is the model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?
Is this switch connected to the RBR? https://kb.netgear.com/000051205/What-is-Ethernet-backhaul-and-how-do-I-set-it-up-on-my-Orbi-WiFi-Sy... 📡
What Cat# LAN cable is being used? CAT6 is recommended.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. Even if RBS are ethernet connected.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: RBR850 satellite 5ghz automatically disabled
Thanks for your reply
My home use CAT6 Lan cable.
And my home have three rooms and each room use one satellite with wired ethernet connect to main orbi.
My home total almost 1200 Sq. one room 277Sq.
So the problem is too much RBS on my house?
Thanks.

Re: RBR850 satellite 5ghz automatically disabled
For 1200 sq ft, the RBR alone would be enough. Maybe 1 RBS set out at 30 feet.
I'd turn OFF all RBS and test with just the RBR alone. If you need to add a RBS, find a good remote location out at 30 feet. If the distance can't be at 30 feet, you can turn down the power output on the RBR from 100% to say 50% and this would help with a bit too much signal strength between the RBR and RBS being too close.

Re: RBR850 satellite 5ghz automatically disabled
If you connect the RBS to the back of the RBR via ethernet while in same room as the RBR, does the 5Ghz get disabled still?

Re: RBR850 satellite 5ghz automatically disabled
You might give this a try on the RBS first the RBR lastly, then see if the RBS syncs correctly with 5Ghz enabled while ethernet connected. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-WiFi-6-AX-and-WiFi-6E-AXE/New-RBR850-RBS850-Firmware-Version-v...

Re: RBR850 satellite 5ghz automatically disabled
Thats with the v5 FW applied and if so, did you factory reset the RBS and RBR and setup from scratch after the FW was updated?

Re: RBR850 satellite 5ghz automatically disabled
I would contact NG support and ask for help and information regarding this. The 1 RBS maybe faulty and needs replacing. Ask about RMA options.
