It actually seems like cabled connection does not either work. Just purchased 750 and was going to use two of my RBS 50 satelites... what a waste of money. Have had 50 router for 3 years, and it died two days ago. I am starting to wonder about the quality from Netgear here. I would really have expected better from them.
Well I think NG never intended for the Orbi AC RBS to work at all with Orbi AX. I think for a time they did work wired, however trying with my 1 RBS50 to my Orbi AX, it wouldn't fully connect right or sync. I think that loop hole ws closed in recent FW versions.
