RBS750 satellite died after 13months because thermal paste was not connecting heat sink

No warranty, no nothing. Just a warning for rest of the users as bad experience.

I see. How nice.

How did you get the covers off the RBS? Just curious.

I've passed this on to NG as well.

The FCC submission internal pictures show the heat sink with marks where it apparently touches two of the internal shields, and there appear to be thermal pads in several locations.  "paste", I'm not so sure of.

By breaking most of the clips. Paste = Pads.
