Rbk852 dropping devices

I have an ORBI 852 using the latest firmware. I recently upgraded from the RBK50. Since upgrading 2 of my devices are not working properly - an OBI2162 wifi phone and my circle (version 1).

The OBI can connect and even make a call via wifi but after a few minutes, it loses the wifi signal. I have two different OBI devices that have the same problem. Its the strangest thing. My OBI has a dual band wifi...

I also started having trouble with my circle device. Any devices that were monitored by the circle cannot connect properly. All other devices were fine. Turning off the circle (or disabling the protection) worked.

My gut tells me the problems are both related. Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Rbk852 dropping devices

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Be sure that CTS and RTS values are changed to 2347 under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Test the Orbi AX with AX mode disabled.

For any Circle related problems, please post in the Circle forum:

https://community.netgear.com/t5/Circle-Smart-Parental-Controls/bd-p/en-home-circle

There are known problems with Circle causing disconnects on Orbi AC systems and is advised not to use Circle until NG get that fixed.
