2.0.1.4 firmware

I have the previous version. Should I change to this one? What features are gained or lost?

Re: 2.0.1.4 firmware

Going to 2.0.14 from the 2.1.2.18 release, you would lose wired Ethernet backhaul, and support for the Orbi outdoor satellite.  If you need neither, you could downgrade,

Whether you should depends on your circumstance.  If you're having issues, you might want to try.  If not, I would not bother.   2.0.1.4 in my environment is not without problems, but appears to be the best version I've tried (and I've tried many versions so far).

Re: 2.0.1.4 firmware

What changed between 2.0.0.74/76 and 2.0.1.4?

EDIT: Looks like it added KRACK protection over 2.0.0.74 and addressed a satellite memory leak.

What is newer - 2.0.1.4 or 2.1.2.18?

Re: 2.0.1.4 firmware

No.   2.1.2.18 was released before 2.0.1.4.   2.1.2.18 was pulled and 2.0.1.4 takes its place.  2.1.2.18 is only newer from the context it includes "newer features."

Well if I am running 2.1.2.18  should I switch?

Hello Landerx

If you are not having issues with the 2.1.2.18 firmware then no reason to switch. 2.1.2.18 Does have Disney circle and Ethernet back haul and the 2.0.1.4 does not.

My fault, you are absolutely right - I somehow missed that 2.0.1.4 was released on the 14th.
