The ORBI LBR20 4G LTE WiFi router keeps loosing it's signal and goes off line. This product was purchased in September 2020.  I have made several calls in the last 2 weeks with my issues to US Cellular.  The technical support told me to do a factory reset since their was a firmware upgrade due to issues since day light savings time.  It's been reset and still did not fix the problem.  The last technical support tech said to take it in to US cellular to get another SIMS card to see if that would fix the issue. Got a new SIMS card and it still continues to go off-line several times a day and at night.  The firmware version that it is showing on the orbi app says it's up to date: V2.6.4.6.   I'm not sure what else to do.  I took it in yesterday again to US Cellular and they said I would need to contact NETGEAR directly.  Last night it went off-line again at 10:30 a.m.  I unplugged it and let it re-set.  It stayed on until 8:30 AM today and then lost it's signal again and has been off-line all day.  I checked the orbi app while I was at work.   US Cellular technical support mention a replacement router would be the next step since it's still under warranty.  Is their another fix to this issue?  I really need to get this issue resolved since I depend on internet access when working from home and with kids in virtual learning. Please help!

Are you sure you're getting a good signal from the cell tower?

Log into Orbi via "Orbilogin.net" on your PC.

Click on "Advanced"

Click the blue box "Connection Status".

Scroll down to "Signal Strength" and check if you have lots of bars. If you only have one or two bars, it might be dropping out when the signal gets a bit weaker.

You can improve the signal strength by moving the Orbi around while watching the "Received Signal Quality" number. Try to get the negative number as low as possible - ie "-65" is a stronger signal than "-75".

Place the Orbi as high up as possible. Keep it away from other electronic equipment like TV's and computers. Don't place it where there is any metal between it and the tower. Air ducts, metal shelving, vehicles, concrete walls, etc all blocks cell signals. Rotating it can improve the signal as well.

If your signal is low, and moving it around doesn't fix it, you can get antennas that screw onto the back of the unit.
