I have a RBR50 end some RBS50's
Recently i can't log in to my RBR50 on its IP asdress. In the orbi app i can't configure it to access mode. I need this because my internet provider has a HHCP and it conflicts with de RBR50.
What happens when i try to login.
I go to the ip from the router.
Without doing ennithing i get a page : 401 Unauthorized
I enter my routers serialnr and i answer the 2 security questions.
Then i can change my password and make 2 new security messages (password reset procedure)
When i try to login i get 401 Unauthorized page again and start all over the password reset!
I tried it again and clearing my cach, delete cookies, use an other browser, use a other laptop. Every time the same result : the password reseet!
What can i do. Half of my network is useless now!!!
Help me please?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
I recommend factory reset the RBR and setup from scratch with a wired PC/laptop and web browser first:

https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
You can do this with out the RBR being connected to the ISP modem if it has a built in router there already.
Then you can configure AP mode:
I recommend using MS-Edge or Firefox or Opera browsers for this.
Be sure to clear out all browser caches before going to 192.168.1.1 after the reset happens.
If your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Try option #2 first...Or configure AP mode on the RBR.

Re: HELP!!!!! I cant login anny more RBR50
Once you get the system set up, might update to last released FW the NG put out:
RBS first, then RBR lastly.

Re: HELP!!!!! I cant login anny more RBR50
Be sure you update any RBS first before the RBR is or bad things can happen.
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
