Have tried multiple times to seperate 2.4 and 5GHz but it doesnt workl
I have researched online how to use telnet to rename the SSID on my Orbi, followed the instructions exactly and all appears to work, until I reboot the router. Once it reboots it doesnt keep the changes I made and even uncheck the Telnet option. Very Frustrated as I have read many have got this to work and I cannot. I am up to date on my firmware and at a loss as how to get the Orbi to seperate them out. ANy suggestions is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

I am interested in the reason why it is important to have different SSID's by frequency. A particular device "needs this"?
