How to use star topology on Orbi Router and Satellite ?

As we know Orbi product support backhaul topology (daisy and star chian) after upgrade latest firmware, but it only has " Enable Daisy-Chain Topology " this option can choose. If choosing star topology, how should we do?

If you don’t want to allow your nodes to connect in Daisy Chain topology then you need un-tick the “Enable Daisy Chain” option and your nodes will then only connect in star topology. 

Please note that in the 2.2.1.210 latest software it seems that you have to have Daisy Chain enabled for your Backhaul to work properly. This seems to be a bug in the software.

Disable the Daisy Chian Topology it becomes to Star Topology. When connecting with satellite, I get IP address is 192.168.1.X. The router IP address is 10.0.0.1 .So they are in different segment. Is it possible in the same segment when using star topology.  As I know connecting without wired between router and satellites are in the same segment.

The topology has nothing to do with the IP address ranges.
If your devices are getting IP addresses outside the DHCP range set in Orbi then it means that devices are getting the IP addresses from another “node”:
- Is your ISP modem set to AP mode or is it also acting as a router with DHCP capabilities?
- If not, do you have any wifi repeaters in your Orbi network that can also act as DHCP server?
