Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
You might try downgrading the RBR to v44, factory reset and setup from scratch and just test the RBR alone in AP mode. See if the problem continues, if it does, I would contact NG support and ask about an RMA.

Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
Called my ISP told them Netgear told me my " internet port " IP is private and need to be made public.
I call iso..they said I have both public and private ip.
Can you tell me what's next ??
I'm on the phone with a girl now who wanted to do a factory reset..I told her I already did that... The last guy told me about the internet port needs changing..and now I'm on hold..again.

Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
Do you have access to the modems UI, if so, setup the DMZ or IP Passthru for the IP address the RBR gets from the modem. You can configure the RBR for router mode here.
I would ask if your ISP supports a stand alone modem only option as you don't need a router at the modem, just a modem only and then connect the RBR to the modem.

Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
Leave the cable modem in router mode
1. Try turning off lan dhcp on the modem
2. Connect with your computer manually if needed
3. Make sure your ip addresses for the orbi and cable modem are not the same
192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1 on the orbi
put the cable modem router IP address in dns settings of the orbi

Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
please post screenshots of multiple screens on *BOTH* CODA and ORBI. I cannot decipher form the text properly. Text is showing you have 192.168.0.x on both the devices.

Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
If the Orbi is in AP mode, DO NOT USE THE ORBI WAN (yellow) PORT to connect to your cable modem/router. Connect one of the Orbi ports to the router.
When I had my Orbi connected to my router in AP mode, if I used the Orbi's WAN (yellow) port, it caused a lot of problems. I moved it to over of the other ports (found in a post on the forums) and it worked fine and no more major issues.

Re: ORBI RBR20 please help
Try it in AP mode with the cable from your router plugged in to any port EXCEPT the yellow WAN port on the Orbi. The symptoms you are experiencing are very similar to what I had until I moved the cable on the Orbi.
