OpenVPN Setup issue /iOS
I have dynamic DNS setup properly and working.
I tick enable VPN Service and Apply.
Then download the smart_phone.zip file which contains smart_phone.ovpn .. and import that into the OpenVPN client on my iPhone.
All seems fine.
But it will not connect .. and I can see no VPN traffic or errors being logged on the Orbi.
Have I missed a step ?
Eventually I timeout on the iPhone.

Re: OpenVPN Setup issue /iOS
Hi cpmolloy,
Not cirtain about iOS, but when I downloaded the client.zip file for a Windows installation, I too imported the client.ovpn file into OpenVPN and when I tried to connect, I just got a blank window which eventually timed-out.
But there were additional files in the client.zip file, specifically two security certificates and a .key file, which I originally didn't do anything with.
When I added these into my 'OpenVPN \ config' directory, then the VPN connection made progress. You may have to do something similar in iOS?
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Max

Re: OpenVPN Setup issue /iOS
Thanks Max,
I'll give this a shot.
However, when you click on the "FOR SMART PHONE" download button, you get a zip file which just contains a single file .. the .ovpn file.
The Windows link does give those additional files you mention, though.
I shall have fool around and see if I can get some combination to work 🙂
Thanks again !
