Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
I have had the system for almost 2 years, with 3 satellites it covers the whole house, and until now it has worked perfectly.
About 3 munth ago it started to be really unstable, the internetconnection drop out.
Sometimes its about 20 sec with no connection and other times its minutes.
I have tried to reset and start all over - no changes.
Its updated with the latest firmware, 2.5.1.16 - no changes.
My wired connection works perfect.
I hope there is someone who can help on this.
Thanks.

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
What modem are you using?
Have you checked your modem signal strengths?
Do all devices have issues, just wireless devices, just wired devices?
Or is it just devices connected to the satellites?
Does it stay stable if you just try running the router (without satellites)?

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
I have checked the modem signal strength, and its perfect.
Its only the wireless devices which have issues, the wired are perfect.
I will try without satellites.

You can also try enabling/disabling:
Fast roaming
Beamforming
daisy chain (unless you're using daisy chain and need it)

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
I have enabled fast roaming and Beamforming and testing the last days.
It works good when I have only one satellite connected. If I turn one one of the others it becomes unstable, which I dont understand.

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
Is Daisy Chain enabled?

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
Daisy Chain is enabled.
The distance between the router and satellite is 50 feet. - and this setup works witg 5g.
from the satellite there is only about 20 feet to the next satellite which is in the cellar - if I turn it on the problems begins, when it is off it is not the whole cellar which is covered.
the 3.rd satellite is about 30 feet from the router - but in between the router and the one 50 feet away.
The setup has been working perfectly earlier.

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
You migh try this, swap around the RBS to make sure the cellar RBS works in the other location.
You might disable Diasy Chain to see if this changes any behaviors.
What is happening exactly with the 2nd RBS is connected?
I presume the RBS and RBR are all using same version of FW?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
Yes, they have all same version of FW; 2.5.1.16
I have tried a factory reset and setup from scratch since last update.
when connecting the 2nd RBS; we are often thrown of the wifi, varies gratly in speed, lacking on music / TV.
Good idea to try to swap around, and disaple Diasy Chain.
Thx.

Re: Orbi AC2200 with 3 satellites
Ok then. I would move the RBS out side of his area.
