Orbi RBK50 and Now TV
I have been using my RBK50 router and satellite with a Virgin media router in Modem only mode without issue for the past 2 years. We are moving house and virgin is not available there and so are going with Now TV (limited selection to choose from as the property is rural so speed is poor). I've read that the Now TV router is locked down and not capable of modem only mode. All I really want is for my WiFi to be spread all around the house reliably. Will putting my orbi into access point mode do this?
Also when I move and get the new router do I treat it as a new set up when I try and add my orbi?
I'm not very techy so simple explanations and small words are appreciated!
Thank you

Re: Orbi RBK50 and Now TV
I would factory reset it to install it. That makes sure old settings don't cause issues.
And if the now modem can't be put in modem only mode, access point mode would be a good choice. You could also just put the netgears IP address into the Now's DMZ. That'd also work.
