I connected my time machine harddrive to the orbi satalite with USB. The harddrive is visible through smb://readyshare/USB_Storage from my OSX and i can access the data, but it's not available under "Select Disk" in the time machine.
I have created that points to the disk, but i can't choose "Advanced Options" when i do a right click on the share where i could set it as a time machine source.
I can backup when i connect the disk directly to the laptop.
Any help welcome.

Hi Patrick_2,
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
The ORBI's USB port is only for printers with ReadyPrint. It's not available for external storage.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried these steps, but the tutorial is outdated and it did not work anymore this way.
