Orbi- desktop hardwire internet connectivity
My desktop is hard wired to the Orbi router. When I wake up the desktop most times the internet isn't working on the desktop. The wifi on other devices( iPhones, iPads, apple Tv, laptop etc) are fine at that moment. I have to disable the Ethernet adapter on the desktop and re-enable it to get internet connection. Has anyone else noticed this?
TIA.
TIA.

Re: Orbi- desktop hardwire internet connectivity
Mac or PC? Many Mac's are notorious for being too aggressive with power down states and the adapter needs a nudge to wake back up - you can tell it to never sleep to overcome this. On PC's, you can also manage the sleep settings of the device to see if it helps.

Re: Orbi- desktop hardwire internet connectivity
It's a PC. I'll play around with the sleep settings to check if issue gets resolved. Thanks.

Also be sure to review the adapter specific settings.
