RBR / RBS 20 dropping internet
I’m running the latest firmware V2.6.2.104. I looked at past posts and wasn’t able to get anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: RBR / RBS 20 dropping internet
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

Re: RBR / RBS 20 dropping internet
The ISP modem is already in bridge mode. Worked witht eh ISP this past weekend and they see no signal drops from the modem so it appears the issue is with the Orbo router. They're sending me a boposter. I set the modem to gateway and turn off the orbi router and satelites. We'll see if the problem goes away.

Re: RBR / RBS 20 dropping internet
Important to note that I had a dependable internet connection for years with this configuration. It just started happening the past few months. I did update the FWon tyhe orbi mesh to V2.6.2.104 and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Try the RBR in AP aswell:

Did you enable Armor or Circle on the Orbi?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Both armor and circle are enable. No factory reset performed after the last patch.

Re: RBR / RBS 20 dropping internet
Lets factory reset and setup from scratch. Do not enable Armor or Circle this time.
Save off a new backup configuration to file for safe keep.
Test to see if the system continues to drop internet...Let us know.

Re: RBR / RBS 20 dropping internet
Make sure you do a backup configuration to file.
After that, you can start enabling Armor and or Circle. We've seen problems with these enabled before. Why I had you reset from scratch and not enable them. If basic configuration works and you save off a configuration to file. You can always go back to this if after enabling Armor and or Circle and you encounter problems again.
